Our Story

PARC Agro Tech Company (Pvt) Limited (PATCO) has been established as an innovative Product marketing company on 11th April 2008. The head office of the company is located at NARC Islamabad and is incorporated with the SECP under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (XLVII of 1984) limited by shares. The establishment of the the company fulfilled the need for a dynamic commercial and marketing company which could transfer the knowledge and technical expertise, available with the National Agricultural Research System (NARS), especially Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) to the ultimate end users i.e. agro-industries and farmers. PATCO has also addressed the future challenges of agro technological development and transition to commercial science-based agriculture. The company provides a platform to all the players, both from the public and private sector, to interact, invest and commercialize research-based innovations for the benefit of the public. The company will also ensure fast delivery of technologies generated by PARC/ NARS to their real users but also provides incentives to the respective scientists.
